(ph7 neutral) adhesive paper tape. When hinging art, always hinge from the back. Due to the high initial tack and the acrylic adhesive the tape is permanent and can be difficult to remove. PH7-70 Is a white self adhesive, single sided acid free.

Picture/photo mounting

I am happy to use it to seal edges of a sandwich of glass, mounted pic, and backing board.
It takes some time to get used to it as it is unforgiving if you get it in the wrong place. It is also very reluctant to stick to itself, which makes doing the corners more tricky, but overall, now I have practised a bit, I am happy to use it, as framing this way, you don't get bits of fluff, etc, trapped between glass and image, and you know that you aren't going to get a dust mite or something wandering around between picture and glass. Good Product
This Acid free self adhesive tape sticks well and holds mountboards well. It does say however that it should not be used in direct contact with a valuable piece of art. It seems to have all the credentials for archival quality but would guess that it is due to the tape being self adhesive. Substantial tape with good adhesion.
This is quite a heavy tape with good adhesion. It adds substantial support when repairing torn or weakened paper. I have no idea about the long term acid free aspects of this product but, my initial response is favorable.
