Useful sticks
These are the right sizes to fit the nooks and crannies of miniatures when you are trying to get rid of those horrid mold lines. Works like a treat with all the different grades you get, and I would highly recommend imho.

Sanding sticks
Great for getting into small sanding areas, good selection of grits but would be great if there were better adhesive as they do separate a little easily if to much pressure is applied while sanding, otherwise a nice addition to my craft box. Will buy more at some point.

Good for soft materials (PVC, wood) not so great with metals.

A very useful size. I use when model making, 1/35 scale AFVs and 1/72 aircraft. Being slightly flexible makes them very useful for getting in otherwise difficult places. Good selection of grades to get a good finished, and seem to last well.

Love these sanding sticks - best quality ones i have found. They last ages and have a good selection of grades. Although the yellow ones are the ones i use most often so wish there were more in the pack!

Cheap
Well they come in various grits which is nice, but they are attached to Styrofoam, which is so thin, unfortunately, it will break if any real pressure is applied to the teeny tiny little stick. I had one small area on a small spoon I carved, that was uneven, and unfortunately, even though these sticks are small enough to fit into that tiny gap, they are not strong enough to sand without breaking.

Not ideal for wood carvings
These sticks are a bit expensive for what they are. I bought them for finishing wood carvings, and they don't do that very well. the sandpaper tends to lift away from the plastic core material. They may well be good for other applications.
