This tea strainer is reasonably robust and not too pricy. I wanted one like this as the old metal one I had rusted. I bought the 7cm size which is just large enough to contain 2 teaspoonful of dregs. Smaller and larger sizes can be had.

Not like the picture in the advert; the "rim hooks" on the two I received were much flimsier than those shown in the photograph. In addition and to a lesser extent, the mesh on both looked as if each strainer had been pushed onto a needle-sized (diameter) rod to hang them up and so I had to close the resulting "hole" by pushing its surrounding stands closer together.

Bought this item previously. For the price it lasts quite well around 9 months to 1 year used 3/4 times per day. Replaced as a little grotty after all this use but not broken, so good value.

Wanted a small size sieve to drain my croutons/bits from my cup a soup and this fitted the bill perfectly. Leaves no residue. Good value for money.
