Novel design which works well.
The handle was/is good. I thought I had measured correctly, but the handle was a loose fit. That was easily overcome. The dome-headed bolt surprised me as the allen key slot was very small and easy to tear. I had a slot-headed bolt of exactly the same thread and I felt much happier with that.

Can you handle this...?
It’s not the cheapest replacement ‘D’ handle you can buy but it is one of the best with a rotating ergonomic grip and sturdy quality construction, it is definitely one of the best. I bought it to add to a snow shovel that didn’t have a D handle and it works much better than without it but you could easily use this on a large spade without worrying if it was going to break.

sturdy and hand friendly
