Awesome game!
My family plays Power Grid Deluxe practically every time we’re together, and we love it. We have some very competitive players and some more relational players (i.e. “I don’t care if I lose, I’m just happy to be playing!”). The rules are confusing the first few times as there are a lot of details to remember, and we refer to the booklet pretty regularly throughout play, but we don’t mind that. The actual gameplay is really fun and maddeningly unpredictable; you can appear to be leading the entire game and end up third, or vice versa. We enjoy trying different strategies (buy more generators than you can power? Buy more power plant capacity than you currently need?) and trying to suss out what the best ones are. Highly recommend!

Nice Upgrade to a Classic Game
A combination resource management, auction, and board control game, Power Grid is a favorite of mine. Except for the money tokens, every aspect of the deluxe version is an upgrade. I love it.
