Great product easy to install.
This is the second van we've put one of these Fiamma handles on.Not only does it help with getting in and out of our Off Road van due to added height,but it also provides peace of mind when we leave the van on site. Nothing will stop thieves breaking n but it is a deterrent. Lastly it also provides more security to the separate glass screen door we have by ensuring it cant fly open while travelling . We bought one as a direct replacement but it simply would not lock Test it before you drill holes in your caravan/motorhome NOT a reflection on seller
This is not a reflection on the supplier at all they were superb in trying thier best to resolve our issues. We have had one of these on our caravan for many years so we bought it as a direct swop. It is a good job that the holes in the caravan were already pre-drilled because after swapping out it failed to lock. defeating it's purpose, removed it, tested the lock again on the table - re-fitted and found with pull the lock opened again. No give if you are trying to keep thieves out or indeed refugees at the port in Europe. Seller was really helpful and supplied a replacement barrel lock - fitted this then re-fitted to caravan. Same issue again. I can advise that FIAMMA now have these made in China (says so on the kit) and the quality is very poor. This is a security device not an ornament Total pile of junk. Get your act together FIAMMA before you start getting very large bills from disappointed customers with very expensive motorhomes and caravans for repairs to drilled holes! I cannot even recommend that you test it before you put your drill to work - cos I did and it worked on the table just not on my caravan.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does not lock

Lock is awkward to turn
This is the 3rd Fiamma lock I have had to buy as both previously broke, the last one the pull down handle to release the main swing bar lock came off completely, this one the lock mechanism feels difficult to lock/unlock. I guess i will have to grease it up. Had to get this same lock to match the fitting holes in the side of the motorhome,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
