Blown away
Awesome arrival time of a day early, extras are awesome. Case is great! Battery took some time to charge, was dead, and doesnt seem to be holding long but they arent expensive. Not a big issue. Best phone you can get at the price, but will need some work to make it function well
At around $100 new (what I payed for a Korean version), this really is a great phone, especially compared to entry-level phones available from prepaid carriers for the price. You will need to manually update to jellybean (the latest official version available through it) by downloading the LG update flash tool to your PC and the KMZ file (Google for instructions), no rooting is necessary. Once this is installed, patches for it will be available OTA. You will also need to manually add APN settings to get mobile data to work right (for AT&T, search for "Program correct data settings for non-AT&T devices"). Had LG Optimus Pro in the past....
I unfortunately dropped my original Optimus G Pro and injured it fatally. :( I proceeded over the next couple years with LG's but different models. I have come back around to the Optimus - found a great deal on a new one and have been happy with it. great Korean phone that works well on AT&T
There are installed apps that are not useful in USA. Does not have 4G so it drops back to 3G in those areas. LTE works great though. Not Apple quality but I didn't expect it to be. It flexes a bit but nothing that makes me regret buying it. I have ordered one more for a backup for those in the family that like big phones.
