Does'nt need mains electricity
Living in a rural area we seem to have quite regular power cuts and getting on a bit with a couple of health issues we have a number to call when that happens. Just recently we tried to do that and discovered that you need mains electric to use our walk around phone thus we bought this good old style phone which just requires a phone socket. Having chosen the cheapest telephone available, it would be unreasonable to expect high quality; even so this is disappointing. Both ringtones are unpleasant and difficult to hear from another room, and sound reproduction is crackly, hissy and indistinct. I regret making this false economy. Good value, basic phone
