Good with reservations
This is indeed a replacement for the original Canon one as it fits the lens however it does not lock on the lens like the Canon one so is liable to turn and can show up in a shot if you're not careful to check before every shot. For the price it's fine

Cheap and cheerful
Does half a job, but you get what you pay for. It's sturdy and clicks into place adequately, but there's no fabric coating on the inside so it won't stop the sun bouncing off the inside of the hood and creating flare/ghosting.
