Connection woes
For me when replacing an old transformer that would not work with LEDs the only problem was the connections. The old one had 3 sets of output connections so up to 3 lights could be easily wired. This new driver can handle 12 Watts and so is capable of serving 3 4Watt bulbs or as in my case 2 5W ones. BUT the driver only has one set of output connections and these are quite small. It was impractical to get two wires into the connections so I had to make an external junction box. When connected up it works great!

Have high insush current, potentially trigger MCBs
I have 12 of these for my kitchen. The inrush current is very high and pops a standard 6 amp type B MCB. The theoretical current drawn is around 0.4A at the measured voltage of 237V. However, I've had to replace that type B with a 6 amp type C (ie, same basic rating but allows higher inrush current). I'm not sure everyone would realise what was happening. More sophicticated LED transformers (ie, pricier) have inbuilt surge limitation.

Good units, seem to be well made.
I bought three of these units to replace older (15+yrs) electronic units for the ceiling lights in the bathroom. I had just previously tried changing the bulbs from tungsten to led units. I then discovered that the old transformers didn't like LEDs, they flickered very badly. After replacing those old electronic-transformers units with these new ones and the flickering has now gone. So I count that as a success. The units seen well made and, as I say above, work as expected. Obviously it will take some time to see if they are reliable, but I'm optimistic that they will be. The only problem with them is that the screw terminals are quite small and fiddly, but that was the same with the old units and is really due to the small overall size of all of this kind of units. It's difficult to see how larger terminals could be fitted into this form factor.

Decent quality
Seems much better than all the others I’ve used, this runs cooler and seems better quality. No tell-tale missing components on the PCB. Time will tell how long it lasts, several other types at a similar price point have literally gone bang After some months, but I’m cautiously optimistic with this

Inexpensive, well made, easy to use, ideal !
Compact 12v DC supply - perfect for driving a LED replacement for a MR16 reading lamp. The original lamp supply was ~12 - 15v AC and made the LED flicker.. This power supply was small, neat and simple to wire up and use. Great value too.

Excellent product when using LEDs
Bought these as when I changed my bulbs to led the light flickered badly so looking at reviews this seemed the answer! Got two at first to try and changed the old transformer to this new driver and all the problems vanished. I have since bought more so I could change all the fittings to the energy saving LEDs all fitted and all work great. I would recommend these as they certainly cured my problems and have been working a few weeks now without any issues. Only downside is they come without any cables so you will probably need some when fitting them

Small compact and with 1 amp output ideal as an Led driver. Even with 1 sq mm twin and earth the mains connections are a bit fiddily being on same end as output connections.

Cheap, simple and easy to use.
This is a very simple and easy-to-use product. I'd like to say it's "fit and forget", but in fact I bought this to replace an identical one that died. It runs night lights in my house, and the previous one ran for 2.5 years continually. It's probably not designed to run continually for a long period. AND it's likely that during the whole time it was quite warm - possibly warmer than it really should be. So I didn't feel bad about replacing it after 2.5 years.
