At last a garment rack that doesn't fall apart!
I was so fed up having to continually stick the bottom poles back in on my last garment rack that I decided to get a different one. I wasn't expecting much better to tell the truth. But I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I have quite a weight hanging on it with no problems. It's much more sturdy that my last -- at least so far: been using it now a few weeks. Wheels make it easy to move, it can fold together when not in use, and the way it's made at the bottom makes it a huge improvement on my last one! Cloths Rack That will not take the weight
The cloths rack base is firm and strong. the tripod type base is a good idea and the rail is strong chrome tubs with plastic ends all ok up to this point. The roll over clamps that hold the rail up at various hights is not strong enough to take the weight of the cloths added to the rail. when full the clamps give way and the rail slide down.I was lucky to have been replacing an old cloths rack where the base was broken and I able to adapt the old rail to fit the new base. The old rail had holes in so you can adjust the height by screwing in plastic retainers By screwing in a retainer at the height required then sliding the poles in to the base the rail cannot slide down on its own, push the plastic fixed retainers on the base in to the closed position Job done. Unless the makers of the rail made big improvements to the height retainers then I could not recommend this cloths rail as it is useless as it is.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fit For Purpose
I had been looking for a suitably adjustable rail for some time when I found this on ebay. I needed it for a cupboard in the attic to build a wardrobe and it is just perfect. This is an excellent product It is fairly strong and exactly as described. You would not want to fill it up with coats because I think the weight would be too much for it, but for a full rail of shirts, trousers and jumpers it is fine.
