It gets my 'seal of approval'
Bought this to use as a barrier coat between oil and water based finishes and it seems to have done the job very well. It is quick to apply and dries very rapidly....it would make an excellent sealer for small wooden parts and turnings. I used it on a huge sheet of mdf and found it difficult to apply evenly, because you need to keep a wet edge, and this stuff dries in seconds, particularly on a warm day. But the second coat went on better, and with practice it should be possible to get an even and consistent finish every time. Make sure that you have plenty of ventilation when using this, because the fumes are pretty potent....the solvent is alcohol, so brushes and applicators can be cleaned with methylated spirits. It's not cheap, but I've coated about 4 square metres in total, and only used about an inch of fluid out of the bottle, so it should last a long time.
