Original and best!
This is the original Raymond Burr Perry, not the recent "updated" travesty. Wonderful nostalgia for those who remember the 50s and an interesting social document for those that don't. Although there is no overt romance between Perry and Della on screen (orders of Erle Stanley Gardner himself, apparently), the chemistry between Raymond Burr and Barbara Hale is such that it's not hard to imagine, as Hale once put it in an interview, what went on between the characters "behind closed doors." Terrific fun!
