DVD/cd storage unit
Comes in a few different finishes and arrived in 2 large flat boxes. As long as you lay the individual pieces on a floor carefully and follow the instructions it will probably take about 1-1 1/2 hours to assemble. Needs to be fixed to the wall at the top also. Not a piece of character but modern looking and extremely versatile and practical. Now have all my dvds and cds together and it looks great.

This could have been a brilliant product as the design is excellent. Unfortunately it’s been spoilt by cheap cost cutting during manufacture. Cheap and nasty chipboard panels with a cheap foil covering which peels off at the slightest touch. My unit broke in half trying to nail the panels on the back ( which don’t fit very well. ) This needs two cams on each panel end to hold it together more securely but only has one. One cam hole was elongated in manufacture and the dowels were also loose in that panel. I happened to look at the amazon reviews as well and lost count of how many others whose unit had also broke while trying to assemble it. Don’t put it on it’s face as shown in the instructions! Actually, just don’t buy the unit at all. You have been warned!

Does what it says on the tin
I've now bought 2 of these in quick succession. I ummed and ahhed about buying this product for many months . Some reviews talked of missing pieces and poor quality. Units are easy to assemble. Due to height they do need to be attached to the wall but that's the only bit that requires power. It serves it's purpose perfectly. If you want a quality piece of furniture then it's probably not for you. If you have too many CD's and need to house them somewhere then it's ideal. Be careful fitting the back panels.
The finish is good and everything fitted together well. When fitting the back panel it is necessary to place the unit on its front. Because the base is deeper than the overall depth of the unit, this means the whole weight of the unit rests on the front edge of the base and the front edge of the top. Any pressure, even slight pressure, will cause the unit to sag, pulling apart the side joint of the side panels. It is a good idea to spend a little time identifying the various parts as many look similar but, on closer inspection, have different hole positions for screws etc. The instructions are really just pictures but are sufficiently detailed for the job. Good product but even better support
I checked the assembly instructions and everything seemed very straight forward. However the room it was going into did not have enough floor space for the assembly so I had to build it in another room which caused a few difficulties, mainly of my own making. However the support of Lillyvale was excellent and the unit is now being fully used. However, if the unit could be assembled from the ground up, rather than from the top down, then it would make it a lot easier. Thanks once again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

a good sturdy DVD/CD/bookcase
Very large item, which arrived in two boxes weighing in at 19Kg and 23Kg, so this was more than the description stated. I had cleared enough room to put this together on the floor, and you need to be sure you have that sort of space, as you need to put it together (not the shelves) before standing it up and manouvering it into place. I managed all of this on my own, but it would be easier with 2 or more people doing it. Loads of options on where to put the shelves to display everything you could want to, and it enabled me to get 7 shelves for my DVD's, and left a little room for nic-nacs.

Perfect solution CD storage rack
This is my third one purchased, yes I really do have that many CDs! It is a quality product, easy to assemble within 30mins. I would recommend wood glue as you go to help with final rigidity. I also screwed the back on rather then using the nails provided to help square it up. That’s it, in a nut shell I would recommend this product fully to a cd storage problem. A very nice looking and useful cabinet.
This is a nice piece of furniture, it looks good, the instructions are easy to follow and I love the way you can adjust the height of all the shelves to suit you own needs. It stores a lot of cds and dvds. The only thing that went wrong, after I finished assembling it I lifted it up from the floor and pulled the screws out that join the two halves together.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
