Works very well
THis tool makes measuring the thickness of double glazed panels a doddle. Easy to use and accurate. Just make sure the fixed side is held flat against the glass before moving the slider to get the measurement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice box !!!! but the tool it's self is a bit poor quality.
The gauge works fine and does the job but it feels like more money has been spent on the box and it's lovely foam lining. The body of the tool is cast lattice hollow ali. and is a little flexible so I don't think it will take any abuse. Also I think the rule housing should have had some nylon guides to help it slide in a straight line rather than wobbling around. Could have easily had this pushed into the back of the housing.

Great carry case. Great moulded foam so won't rattle around. All metal construction.yes yes yes. BUT so inaccurate it's a guessing game to work out exactly the size it's meant to be.
