Made of breathable polyester with a waterproof PU coating, the Blackthorn tent is designed to withstand rough weather and an bug net inner which is fine enough to keep the midges out. The Blackthorn is outer pitch first making sure the inner doesn't get wet when pitching in bad weather.

Overall very happy
Used this tent for a 105 mile charity walk. It’s easy to set up, very few pegs. Actually liked the way you put up the outer section first, then basically clip the inner tent to it,simple. It rained, I didn’t get wet. Plenty of room for two adults with 3 day backpacks due to the porch. It’s 3kg so not super light, but if sharing the equipment weight with someone it’s not a problem.

Ideal size tent for a weekend, but a bit heavy for back packing.

Plenty of room for a 2 Person, yes it is nice.
The black thorn 2 is a great little tent, I took it up to the Highlands of Scotland for 4 nights although we had hardly any rain it was good 5 minutes up, 5 minutes down, I was carrying a lot of stuff and it was a pleasure to add this to my pack.
