light weight bivvy
i have not used this bivvy as yet but sure it will be fine. i am use to military bivvy that are thicker but nowhere near as light as this one. i would say that this is by no means a long term bivvy but if you are looking a lightweight bivvy to carry incase of adverse weather conditions then this is for you. be aware though that if you have not used a bivvy before you will get wet due to condensation (this is inevitable when sleeping in what is essentially a plastic bag) i have bought this as a backup for when i take my son wild camping on the moors. this will be great for those who are concious of weight and need to travel as light as possible. i wouldnt say this is heavy duty but is fit for purpose. would recommendVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

As expected, thin waterproof layer, to keep sleeping bag dry. Intend to use it under a tarp, expecting windy and potentially wet conditions. Traveling by motorcycle so weight is an issue, which this product meets perfectly. There are the usual condensation conditions for sleeping in a plastic bag, but by wearing the right layers and understanding the effect of the climate one can minimise the requirement for drying.
