    The ORIGINAL modellers glue!

The ORIGINAL modeller's glue! (Well, Humbrol may have something to say about that!). If you are new to modelling or your projects are simpler, straight-forward stuff, then this is cheap, reliable, clean and versatile. I would always advise having a small pad of cotton wool and some nail polish remover in case of slips (or a paintbrush with the remover), but with careful application, you can attain some professional finishes with this adhesive. Perfect for 1/35th scale or "large part" models and projects, I would not advise for anything tricky (like rigged sailing ships for example) as it can be difficult to apply to tiny parts, but if you are putting together a spitfire, this is the glue for the job!

  • Most critical review

Difficult to control and largely obsolete

This is the old fashioned glue for plastic kit assembly and was around in the 60s Everything has moved on since then. Would you now build kits out of shellac and Cow gum ? Difficult to control leading to strings of glue melting and disfiguring the work piece. Get alignment or assembly wrong and your stuck with it. Not recommended unless you're assembling large kit which needs a lot of glue!

  • Very effective

I don't make Revell or Airfix model kits any longer but when I did this was the type of adhesive I would use and this is a very effective example, as I had a small plastic power supply that needed glueing together and this did the job. DO NOT put this on polystyrene though, as it will melt a big hole in it.

  • Works so well

It adheres to hard plastic so well, dries fairly quickly, easy to use and being clear it not very noticeable when dry. Revell have been making plastic models for decades and this polystyrene cement is probably the best on the market.

  • Does what it says on the tin.

Best modelling glue I've come across in a long time. Sticks quickly and well whilst giving flexibility until hardened

  • A very effective glue for modellers.

Excellent glue for plastic modelling. Works well and hardens in a fairly short time, which is very useful.
