This kefir works. I have made a couple batches with the same powder using sugar water instead of milk. And one using milk. The potency seems to be less when used with water. I guess there is something in the milk that these cultures get excited about. Because the water brews were just slightly sour and not really bubbly. When using milk Within 1 day you have a yogurt like consistency that is sour and potent. Refrigerate for a couple hours and you have enough kefir to equal a 1-2 liters. The milk brews taste very sour but better with fruit. The water brews still produced the desired effect on the digestive system, but maybe they just take me longer to cultivate in water. Many people online put molasses in their water brew to enhance the color and add some minerals, but I did not. Maybe that is the secret ingredient. Very easy to use just add packet to quart of diary next day you have nice kefir and take quarter cup of fresh made kefir add to quart makes another. Unlike grains that have to kept alive your going drown in kefir gotta keep making where as this at your comfort level to make.
