Phantastic Phantom
The F-4 Phantom was one of the RAF's most impressive fighter aircraft and 74 Squadron was one of its greatest exponents. Having photographed quite a number of 74 Sqn. Phantoms over the years, I was keen to add this particular Corgi model to my diecast collection, and I was not disappointed. The model is accurately rendered and nicely detailed, and can be displayed 'in flight' or on its undercarriage, and the cockpit canopies can also be displayed in both open and close positions. I was also delighted to acquire this model at such a reasonable price, and in a timely manner.
