Great Diamond plate.
The Atoma Diamond plates are really great quality and will out last the DMT Diamond plates many times over for the same or not much more money. I found about the Atoma Diamond plates from a friend of mine who sharpens Japanese chef knives for a living and he told me that the Atoma 140 Grit diamond plate he purchased 6 years ago still works just fine,he use's a 140 grit diamond plate for flattening his sharpening stones,he also told me that the DMT diamond plate's he purchased only took a year to wear them out. I will always buy Atoma diamond plates over any other brand,they have a much better way of electroplating the diamonds to the metal.

Easy install on Atoma 400 plate
I now have a two-sided Atoma plate, adding this 140 spare to the other side of my Atoma 400 base. The installation was very simple. I have just one plate to store and can just flip it over in the holder to change grit. Saving $20+ over the price of a second complete 140 plate was also nice.
