A descaler for every home.
Citric acid is one of the milder acids, which when diluted enough, can actually be consumed. In some ways, just like the vinegar we put on food. It's often used in sterilising jars for preserves and wine/beer containers for those making their own. It's also enormously useful for descaling items in the home. Given the price, it's significantly less expensive than proprietary descalers bought from retail stores. And doesn't smell unpleasant like they do either. Used to maintain aquarium equipment
I use this citric acid to clean and maintain the equipment used in our marine reef aquarium, 50g per one litre of RODI water. Leave them overnight and next morning they are like new, all calcium deposits are removed helping to lengthen the use of those pumps, heaters and buckets to mix the salt water.
