Tough & easy to work with.
I've been an Archery Tech. for 13+ years and BCY makes the best D-Loop Material. It is made of 1 material rather than many other cheaper strings having an inferior/cheap white core material. The BCY material also has just the right amount of stiffness to make it a little easier to hook with a release, rather than fighting a flimsy D-Loop that seems to be avoiding your release. I've always used the color silver to also make it a little easier to find the D-Loop at a glance when seconds count. Felt rest cover
The adhesive does not hold to keep the replacement felt in place. Have actually used a different cut out product provided by a local archery shop that uses the QAD Rests. The newer QAD's only require felt on the lower portion of the rest to silence so when my new Micro Adjust replaced my older QAD I went with the felt cut outs from the local archery shop that provide more surface area and hold up in all conditions. The pack above required me to continue to replace them as they did not hold up thus adding some required adjustments each time new felt was added. QAD is a fine rest, but they should provide better felt replacement. I did not utilize the new felt packaged with my new rest as a result of the above product purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Felt, it was a good choice. I purchased these pre-cut felt covers for my QAD fall away rest installed them and shot the heck out of my bow I could see a big improvement on the sound level when I would draw back as well as the arrow hitting and creating noise, now it's quiet. I rated them at 4 stars only because they wore out a little quicker than would be expected my thoughts "where arrow slides on the rest". I do shoot allot and what I expected May be a good service life for the casual shooter/ Hunter, I recommend them to anyone to keep rest quiet, the good thing is it is a multi pack and with that its more than adequate and makes buying them a good bargain. Can not say enough to Praise this Outfit. I have bought so many strings from this maker that I have lost count !! Even their cheapest string at $9.25 with free shipping is still far superior to anything to anything else.....unless your willing to pay $30 or more. They will make any length string you ask. I collect vintage bows like some people collect vintage firearms. I have 60X strings on all my bows !!!! And will Always buy from them in the Future. The most important aspect of this string is that is already pre-stretched. Lightweight ready to use out of package with little to do to get it set and ready to sight in...
Put it on my bow the next day....Had it set and tuned in 2 shots. This rest came with the Martin Jaguar takedown bow. Is shoots well and is amazingly low cost. I could replace it with an alternative rest which would cost 5 times as much and wouldn't shoot any better. Interesting purchase.
The sight does adjust easily. Getting it set to various yardage isn't hard. It eliminates holding over or under at in between yardage. The directions left a lot to be desired. The scope has threaded spots that I'm guessing can be used for a light. I haven't found a light with threads the size of the threads. #8 bolt hole with 32tpi according to the company. Have never seen a light with that thread pattern. Majority are 3/8 inch. Makes the threaded inserts useless. It would be really nice if I could use a light for late evening or really early morning. I do need to mention that it mounted and set up easily. No issues with clearance for my quiver. Came with a variety of yardage tapes to use. Is it as fancy as a boss hogg? I have used alot of fletching cement over the years and I keep coming back to gold tip. It is by far the best glue for your dollar. I have never had issues with nocks, fletching, or field points falling off when using this glue. I shoot wooden shaft arrows using either a 40lb or 70lb longbow and again have had no issues with any arrows I have made using Gold Tip glue.
