Does what it's supposed to.
This is the later version of the actuator. More than likely an up-rated part for the facelift X-Type. It fits the earlier Jags perfectly. The only down side is that the part doesn't come with the retainer pin that fixes the part to the boot hinge. So remember to keep your old one.

Fitted a pair of these boot actuators (left and right) and they don't seem to make any difference to the boot opening operation, not worth buying.
