Works just fine - and a great price.
None of my current PC's use a 3-/12" floppy drive anymore and I was in the position where I needed to update the firmware on an elderly piece of hardware that used such a floppy drive. My motherboards don't even have floppy drive interfaces so a cludged connection was not possible. Hence I bought this cheap USB floppy drive for a single purpose. I just plugged it in and the drive was instantly recognised and away you go. Formatted four (ancient) 3-1/2" disks and copied the firmware onto them, and upgraded my Tektronix oscilloscope. Incredible technology
Absolutely blown away by my floppy disk drive. This thing can write up to 1.44 MILLION bit of information, all crammed on a tiny little 3.5” floppy disk. Staggering. Data management has since been a breeze, being able to backup so much information on one affordable drive has put me back in the driving seat of my data management and back up. No Floppy Drive
