Great tool for this very specific task
Hope that I never need to use it but is an effective tool. The small rounded profile, when folded, fits easily into the pockets on a floatation device. The blade opens easily and without "rattling" when in the open position. I like the simple tab that allows you to open the blade with your teeth if the activity is particularly demanding. The rounded blunt tip means that you have less chance of damaging floatation devices when deployed. The tip also would allow you to cut clothing etc, to expose wounds without harming the injured person. The blade profile cuts rope very cleanly without "sawing" at it (had a practice at home). Maybe would have preferred it to be in a more "in your face" colour like orange or yellow but a very good tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
