Great Alcohol Free vinyl cleaner
This is the cheapest way to buy this excellent record cleaner fluid, gulp. I previously used the smallest 100ml bottle but wanted a more economical size. This should last me years as it will make 10 litres of cleaner. It's much better than alcohol based cleaner and you don't need as much either, yet it dries without streaks and stains and removes stale attic smells too. I've even rescued filthy records that jumped and now play so much better and crackles almost disappeared. Best of all it can be warmed up in the microwave for even better results as it isn't flammable or poisonous which is great as my blue parrot loves to help clean my collection! I've even removed old stickers with it from the labels with a drop or two. I apply it to the 7inch singles with a pipette about 5ml or less is enough for each side and press into the groove with a goat's hair brush on my project vcs mk II record cleaning machine then vacuum off for a great shine to the surface and they are ready for our Rockola jukebox. Fantastic record cleaning fluid
This cleaning fluid is great. It does not contain any alcohol, so is suitable for Shellac discs. I have been cleaning and listening to records for many years, and am convinced that cleaning a record with any kind of alcohol results in a loss of sound quality, and has a visible effect on the vinyl's sheen. It's hard to find a good cleaner that doesn't contain it. It's well worth buying this 1000ml to save you some money in the long run. I've cleaned some seriously dirty records with this that have come out looking shiny, after only 1 round on my Pro-Ject VCS mk2.
