Magnetic Tackform phone mount review
This mount works very well with a standard phone and a standard case. However, I am sure the Tackform mount was designed before the Apple Smart Battery Case for the iPhone 7 was designed. The magnet nor the adhesive metal plate will hold an iPhone 7 with the Smart Battery Case. The adhesive will not stick to the silicone smart battery case. This is a good product and I recommend it. I regularly use the iPhone map function when driving in an unfamiliar area. Before purchasing the Tackform mount I would place my phone at forward part of my console seat divider. It would be in the vertical position leaning against the bottom of the dash. I did not like taking my eyes off the road looking down at the map when the audio spoke. Now I can glance just a little to the right side of my steering wheel which still allows he to see the road peripherally. Phone holder
It's a nice phone holder, and takes up little room but the adhesive that attaches the unit to your dash board, falls off when inside of your vehicle gets warm. It needs to be attached with two screws. One at top and one on bottom.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A dandy little mount that works a treat
I've been looking for a mount for my Prius c that doesn't block the vents or the radio controls. The car has only one flat mounting point, to the right of the radio. This mount fits in the spot like it was made for it. My Moto G5 Plus with case and magnetic plate weighs 6.6 ounces and the mount holds it perfectly. I slipped the magnetic plate between the case & the phone, I did not need to use the adhesive. I can rotate the phone easily and the power cable connects from the cigarette lighter to the phone with no obstructions. Installed in about 2 minutes (because I stopped to read the instructions). A great product for a remarkable price. I really recommend it.
