SynopsisCutting across class, race, religion, and gender, A Woman's Worth speaks powerfully and persuasively to a generation in need of healing, and in search of harmony. With A Woman's Worth , Marianne Williamson turns her charismatic voice--and the same empowering, spiritually enlightening wisdom that energized her landmark work, A Return to Love -- to exploring the crucial role of women in the world today. Drawing deeply and candidly on her own experiences, the author illuminates her thought-provoking positions on such issues as beauty and age, relationships and sex, children and careers, and the reassurance and reassertion of the feminine in a patriarchal society.

  • Poetic Approach To Womanhood

I was recommended this book as a sort of beginner's guide into the discovery of womanhood. Marianne Williamson approaches the topic gently and matter of factly. We are born Goddesses, we are fearless and we are needed much more than we can ever understand. I loved the way the book read, there was a flow and synchronized well between each chapters. It was also a quick read but packed flavor with layers of who women are and intended to be. What I most enjoyed about reading this book was the fact it was published when I was 10 years old and all the words apply accurately to my life as a 36 years old woman today. It is a timely piece that serves as a reminder of how far we've come as women but how we still have to continue to move forward in our predestined strength.

Marianne's writing is filled with wonderful, colorful Metaphors and stories. She is a feminist and would make a fantastic president!
