AM a MECHANIC BY TRADE OVER 29 YEARS, I HAVE USED MANY BATT TYPE TOOLS LIKE SNAP ON , MAC , AND MACCO and some did work better than others, THIS 1/4 RACKET BATT BY Milwaukee is one of the BEST FOR THE MONEY I JUST GOT A WEEK AGO BUT IT'S A GREAT WORKING 1/4 DRIVE TOOL IN EVERY WAY NOW I DID IT WITH A FULL BATT TO, THE TOOL DID A JOB ON 10 mm head bolts taking off and was with great power the BOLTS even had RED LOCK TIGHT on them, now i did at first had to break them BUT WOW ! IT PULL THEM OUT WITH A BANG ! FAST LIKE MY AIR 1/4 RACKET DID NOW IT BEING A BATT TYPE i was shocked not slow or stopping but BANG as soon as i BROKE the bolt and you sometimes even have to do that with a Air Racket to a 1/4 ! SO I SAY GREAT TOOL FOR THE MONEY YOU CAN'T GO WRONG LIKE i SAID OVER 20 YRS MECHANIC BY TRADE SO I HAVE USED LOTS OF BATT TYPE TOOLS, SO FAR GREAT ! I will up date if i see any BAD SIDES to this TOOL but hope it don't come till it's years OLD !Mike the MECHANIC MAY 2019 Read full review

When I put a battery in it and pushed then button and then head came apart and the snapring fell onto the top of my toolbox. The snapring that holds the whole head tight is spring-loaded with 4 tiny but strong springs. i fought with it for an hour and then set it aside for a few days and thought about it. I ended up using a antenna socket with a C-clamp clamped in a vise, and some dental picks to compress the springs and get the snapring on, now it works perfect, it was close, that first hour had me pretty cross but it worked out and I am happy with my purchase

This is an excellent high quality tool. I absolutely loved the 3/8 version so I got this. The only disappointing thing is that it's the exact same size! You wouldn't expect it to be because presumably it's got to get into smaller areas. If I knew that I could've simply put a 3/8 to 1/4 adapater on my first one and had the same tool. Nevertheless it works well and has a lot of power.

I have been using cordless tools for quite some time now, and I'd have to say this is just about one of the best. Very compact, lightweight, and has just the right amount of torque. Milwaukee did a very good job and I'd have to say I prefer this over the snap on model.

If I knew about this ratchet I would have bought it long time ago. I do emergency lights installations on Ford vehicles. This ratchet is so compact and power full my daily work. I have not used my air ratchet ever since I bought it. No more air house in the way. It has enough torque and the LED light is a plus inside the vehicle.
