Well worth the money and environmentally is the right thing to do rather than buying a complete wheel and discarding the old inner plastic hub. As others have reported the excess rubber needs trimming off with a blade but only takes 10mins with due care. Hardest task was removing the old tyre off the rim. Best way I found was to take the valve out of the inner tube first so that all the air comes out, carefully remove inner tube and then prise off the old tyre. Putting the new tyre on was ok with a bit of leverage, slid in the old tube (nothing wrong with mine as it’s the tyre that had split with old age) and reinflated. Happy days. Hopefully it’ll last as long as the old one did (16yrs!).

Sun and weathering destroyed my old wheelbarrow tyre and tube. This one replaced it and works OK but there were a few niggles. There was a lot of rubber moulding flash to remove from the tyre bead edge, because it was getting in the way of fitting the inner tube. The inner tube valve was much shorter than the old one, and only just protruded through my metal wheel. OK to start with, but I know that if the tyre goes down it will disappear inside which is a real nuisance. I put a small jubilee clip round to stop this happening but this really shouldn't be necessary. If anyone of influence reads these reviews (which I doubt), LONGER valve please. The Chinese tyre rubber is also VERY smelly and the parcel had to be banished to the shed straight after delivery. Finally, the tyre is stamped 25 PSI max, not 35 PSI, not that this matters for a wheelbarrow when 20 PSI is about all you need.Read full review

I needed a tyre and bought the first cheap one I saw. I must admit that I laughed and called myself a fool when I saw it. HOWEVER, It arrived a day early, it fitted easily. I inflated it to 30psi and it has held its pressure. I put it on the barrow and I have used it as normal and up to now it has performed well. Obviously I can not foretell the future. I'm not sure what more I can say. It's a Wheel Barrow tyre that costs about £8. One thing I did notice is that along with all other Wheel Barrows Tyres that I have experienced it only turns if you apply force, once you stop pushing it stops turning. But for £8??

It wasn't actually for a wheelbarrow it was for my sons barrow for fishing. It was absolutely amazing perfect fit and came in a few days after ordering. He's used it and said it was great 👍 so yes very pleased 😀 he would definitely tell all of his fishing friends if they ever needed one.

A fairly simple product. Easy to fit. Seems like good quality. Used on a very old wheel barrow with old turned iron wheel. It was hard to fit the tyre but once fitted, it looked steady and wasn't going to come off any time soon. I would suggest checking the size before purchase since I think my wheel dia was slightly higher (due to being over 30 years old).
