A great little device for automating a layout - excellent quality too.
I bought this as part of an experiment to automate some points/turnouts so they change as a train approaches. Just brilliant! The relay contacts allow me to trigger my PC200 points controller on my DCC layout. I also adjusted the programming (easy) to activate and then hold for ten seconds and then release. Also tested with red/green signals using its own supply of 12VDC absolutely perfect. I've bought DC and DCC Shuttles from this company and they have all been excellent and at a good price. I will be buying more of these.

Works really well
I have LEDs on my control panel to show when trains are in my hidden storage sidings. I found to stop the detector activating by reflecting of the roof, all I had to do was glue a sheet of Emery Paper to the underside of the roof.

Good for detecting trains
It solved the problem i was having with train detection, by enabling a simple on/off/ changeover switch output when the train was detected. Not easy to program though!
