A means of maintaining a constant level of carbonate hardness in reef aquariums. The exact degree of carbonate hardness is essential for stabilizing the pH value. A sudden drop in carbonate concentration in the tank can completely stop the nitrification process. The recommended KH value in reef aquariums is 6.5-8.5 dKH. Dosage: Dissolve 80 g KH buffer in 1000 ml RODI water. The dosage should be determined according to the results of the water tests and the daily consumption of the corals. Before adding KH buffer solution into the water, it is recommended to conduct a water test to check the current water parameters. The maximum daily dose is 20 ml per 100 liters of water. 20 ml KH buffer solution raises the KH value in 100 l water by 0.5 dKH. The product is also suitable for occasional use.
