Easy to set up for Apple products.
Okay, worth mentioning that although in bold type the description states the printer does not come with ink, it did! Not a problem except that in anticipation of it not having ink I had bought some (well at least I now have spares). I wanted this for use with my MacBook, as my older Canon printer is not compatible. The printer was very easy to set up for use with iPad and iPhone. it took a little longer with the MacBook and actually didn't seem to be connected until I sent something for it to print. It did seem to take some time but that may be because I am new to the MacBook. I used the wireless connection process. And for MacBooks all the software needs to be downloaded from the Canon website. The CD included with the printer is for Windows. I have always found Canon products to be reliable and this influenced my decision to buy this All in one Printer, Copier and Scanner. EASY TO USE, USEFUL FEATURES, NOISY.
Noisy! lots of self attention noise when this device is getting ready to print. this might not matter in a factory but in a bedroom, it does. Printing is quick, clear and not 'flooded' with ink so both sides printing works well, even on cheap paper. Most of the work, asa far, has been in black. A photo was attempted, as a test, and the colours were pale but this could have been a settings issue? The size is not quite as described on Canon's page in reality. It takes up more space than the dimensions suggest and the paper tray cannot be closed with paper in it. This means that only the correct amount of paper should be added for the print job or it will have to be removed to close up the door afterwards making storage difficult. So, for a domestic application, not quite as described, noisy and open all the time. For a workplace, it should be useful if dust is not a problem. The price is good. The cost of ink cans is not. No really low price offers of ink cans are available yet and originals are very expensive. If only occasional use is required, this might not be an issue but if in a busy place cost is ink important.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Amazing!
For the price this product is brilliant! Sharp colours, easy to setup and when printing on glossy paper you can not tell the difference between the printout and a normal photograph. No problems yet and it blows epson printers out of the water - even if you have to pay a little extra for the product and the ink. Highly recommended! For the price this is incredibly economical . Came with Cannon Ink , which was almost as much as the printer . Printer is functional ie: it does what its supposed to .
