It's easy to setup & use and so far hasn't had a real problem. However I found that U can get really involved in the details of the advanced setup (I got lost) so it's much better to have someone that knows netyworking details hanging around... My only problem is that if the drives aren't accerssed every couple of min, they go to sleep, whiththe resultant pause, when the drives spinup again (less than 10 secs I would think), but can be adjusted...

Pros: - Very quiet and good build quality - Execellent iSCSI LUN IOPS - Very easy to configure - If you buy preconfigured, comes with WD RED NAS 3.0 Ready HDDs Cons: - CIFS speeds are on the slower side(Don't take my word yet, still testing it though) - User interface is not that good. - CLI interface setup/config is missing

I bought the 8TB model (which gives you slightly less than 6TB of storage after the RAID overhead). The unit is solidly built, and easy to work with-- though the settings require some study if you are not an IT professional. We have 3 smart TV's in the house, and I really like the Plex app that you can load-- for streaming videos to the TVs'. I would buy this again.
