    50mm f/1.8

Can not fault this lens! I have the genuine Nikon one which has semi auto and manual, this has auto and manual, this is now my go to lens if I need a prime the value for money is unreal as I was very sceptical about buying a different brand lens however I have a lot of this brand in my camera kit now and I haven't ever had a bad product from them.

    Okay for begginers

You get what you pay for. I didn't want to spend too much money at first so I ordered Yongnuo 50mm. FIrst impression was amazing - pictures looked amazing in the camera and it let so much more light in than my kit lens. However, when I viewed pictures on my laptop, I was kinda in shock, because when zoomed in the pics weren't sharp at all and no amount of sharpening in lightroom would help. I'm sending the lens back and buying more expensive one.

  • Amazing value for money *****

What can I say about this Yongnuo 50mm prime! Very, very good value for money. Its my go-to for 80% of all my shots. Im still a beginner in photography, but having a prime has helped me think more about photography. The AF is slightly skow, but fir £50, this lens is an absolute no brainer fir anyone waiting to achieve bokeh in their photography. Couple of examples below. Not the best pics, but clearly show what I'm explaining.

  • Thrifty nifty fifty!

I'm a relative beginner, but getting confident to really start experimenting with my photography. This lens compares really well to my friends Nikkor 50mm f 1.8, the extra wide aperture is sharp, (7 blades), construction is a bit plasticy but overall build quality is decent. In fact, that's the best way to describe this lens,, overall,, decent, and this price for a new 50mm? Great value.

  • Thrifty Nifty Fifty

Great little value lens and well worth the price! Image is sharp and smooth with excellent bookeh. autofoucs is not quite as rapid as my Nikkor 35mm (closest comparison I have) but does the job accurately and reliably none the less you need to pay at least twice as much for a lens before you start to even notice the differances

  • It works awesome with sharp photos, low light ambience, perfect boken effects.

Although is not a well known lens like canon, nikon, etc...it will do the job nice and good. Auto focus, manual mode, F1.8 and so.... only the hard work remains with the user to choose the right photo and it will do all the job for you. Awesome. Before i purchased it i have so many doubts. I searched in you tube and almost 95% say that is indeed a good choice. So, i go ahead.

  • Great Portrait Lens

This lens seems really responsive on my Nikon D5300. Focus is quick and the large 1.8 aperture is fantastic indoors. The images are sharp and edit nicely in Lightroom.
