It's beautifully photographed, and the recipes themselves don't require 'special' ingredients. If you're already vegan, it's pretty likely you'll have the milks, egg substitutes, and margarine already. Nice range of recipes and simple to follow instructions. Nothing pretentious about these! However this is not a basic recipes book, more like additional inspiration. Still looking for a basic go-to vegan cakes book, although this book does include some classics that I will be returning to in the future!
