By Linwood Barclay. I just had all three. TRUST YOUR EYES is the best Barclay so far, a tale Hitchcock would have loved. It has more spins than the Whirl360 computer program Thomas Kilbride is so fascinated with.

About this product

Product Information

Map-obsessed Thomas spends his days and nights on a virtual tour of the world through his computer screen, believing he must store the details of every town and city in his head. Then one day, while surfing a street view program, he sees something that shouldn't be there: a woman being murdered behind a window on a New York street. When Thomas tells his brother Ray what he has witnessed, Ray humours him with a half-hearted investigation - until he realises Thomas may have stumbled onto a deadly conspiracy, which puts them both in danger. . . With enough suspense to rival a Hitchcock film, this is a thriller with edge.

  • Disappointing condition compared to the description.

The spine was in such a poor condition that there is no way the book could be described as "like new", (as it was in the advert). At best, it was "good". Looking at the spine from above, it has a pronounced curve. Avid novel readers will recognise this as the curve that comes from bending the pages right round to hold them against the back of the book, as you read. The spine also has several creases that come from this treatment. I imagine the story content is great, as with other novels by this other.

  • Not his best

Another story that is all about the very end with not much to interest the reader along the way. Liked 'Fear the worst' best by this author.
