At these prices, what do you expect?
Yes, there are better mics which cost more money but, in a listening test, how many people will tell the difference between mics? If you are doing lots of music recording and can afford to justify a matched pair of big capsule condenser mics, that will probably get a better sound but, bearing in mind most audio is reduced mastered down to 16 bit wav files which are then reduced further to mp3 and heard on bad headphones connected to mobile phones, who is listening to audio in such optimum conditions they will really hear any difference?
