The Canon PowerShot A3500 IS has a 16 megapixel CCD sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens, which is a 35mm equivalent of 28-140mm. The zoom can be extended to 10x with ZoomPlus. To help take the sharpest pictures possible there is Intelligent IS (Image Stabilisation). There is a Smart Auto which automatically adjusts the camera settings, choosing from 32 variables. Other modes include fish-eye effect, super vivid, monochrome and miniature effect. The Live View Control mode where you can change picture settings such as brightness and colour intensity, while being able to preview the results. The built-in Wi-Fi lets you connect the camera to your home network, compatible printers, PCs, smartphones and tablets for easy image sharing. You can also use the Wi-Fi to connect to your camera to your smartphone and use its GPS to geotag your images. Videos are recorded in 720p HD with the Intelligent IS available to help keep you videos steady. You can also use the optical zoom during recording.Product Identifiers

Canon Camera is Excellent Quality
This is an EXCELLENT camera!!!! It takes full size pictures --- none of those stupid-phone things with 2/3 of the picture just borders --- but real full photos!!! Crisp clear photos. It has a lot of features and programing features that I will never use, since I am a senior who wants simple photo taking. This one I bought used with confidence because it replaced one exactly like it that I bought in 2007 and which had been a faithful camera taking THOUSANDS of photos for 12 years!!!! How many photo taking phones will last 12 years? It took 12 years before my old camera needed replacing due a broken screen. Guess what; even thought I could not see what I was taking pictures of without the broken screen, that old camera still took good pictures!!! (Will any phone do that!!!) This one I bought last month to replace it is working beautifully too!!!! I expect it to last me for years to come!!! I LOVE my new replacement Canon power shot camera just as much as the first one!!! As a senior who was raised with Depression Era never-waste/never throw away values, and who does not 'throw away' things for the 'newest latest model' like younger-waste-pollution-mongering generations do, I will be using this camera for MANY YEARS!!!! FYI: As a privacy advocate I do not own one of those disgusting GPS/WIFI spy technology photo stupid-Iphones (with companies tracking their users 24/7) that takes selfies (this Canon will take selfies too -- I've only done it twice in 12 years, not being interested in taking photos of myself) so my separate photo-only cameras are the ONLY photo taking devices I own!!! I still have a many decades old 35mm camera that works perfectly---EXCEPT I CANNOT GET ROLLS OF 35MM FILM, or flash cubes, anymore in this stupid-phone century!!!!
