Lots of pages, but not very interesting or gripping.
I found this particular book of Lisa Jewells really really hard to get into. There story lines didn't hold my attention, and I found myself just floundering around, wondering why I was even reading it. There's a lot of pages in this book, about 550, and I'm currently up to page 297, and I still don't find it at all interesting. Its so different from every other book of Lisa Jewells, that it crossed my mind that it was another author altogether.! Her stories are usually so gripping that I read the entire book in a couple of days, but this one is really disappointing. There just doesn't seem to be a story in there. I hate to say it, but I find it boring. Sorry to say, but it is definitely not up to her usual excellent standard. If you are a Lisa Jewell fan ,its disappointing because this one is nothing like any of her others.!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
