Weak and poorly designed
I try to give product a chance to work to be fair, but these are really a failure. They're not well designed and fit poorly on the connect module as they're thin and not durable plastic, not snug at all. They might work on an ethernet connect that doesn't get regularly disconnected, as on the router side; if you take your laptop wireless/portable, these won't last more than a few reconnects, if that. I have one computer dedicated to 24/7 weather upload and it never moves: I found the connector clip broken today; not sure what happened there. In short, not a good product and way over-priced for the lack of better design and manufacture. I got this on 3 June, and three weeks later I have two usable left out of 6. These clips absolutely would not fit my my field use laptop (Toughbook). If you're on the move with your laptop(s), best to invest in new connect modules and a crimper; cheap work arounds are just a waste of time and money ultimately and that's not a product fault, just good work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple fix that works
The problem of the broken RJ45 connector clip is solved. To fit on the cable, the repair clip itself is necessarily small and thin. So I suppose there's the possibility of it too eventually breaking. But it is easily replaced. It makes the cable end work just like new. I don't understand why these aren't sold in stores.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy, cheap fix.
