Substitutes usually won't do
Bodum are pretty poor at identifying any kind of model numbers on their glassware and just calling the cafetiere a name is useless after you throw away the box since it isn't on the actual body. So, it is really good that these guys include the dimensions in the description.

The Bodum glass cafetiere actually creates a better crema than a non-glass more sophisticated one we have, so when I broke the original glass, we were devastated. Being able to get this replacement for a model we had for 40 years is great.
