Great Cut to fit recoil pad
This is a great grind to fit recoil pad as I installed it on a recently purchased Ithaca 37 shotgun which had the stock reduced to less than 4 inches in height and this particular recoil could be ground down to fit this stock. Its recommended to use a belt grinder, but I used a kit from Harbor Frieght to grind it down to size with a electric hand drill. The package comes with complete instructions, a sizing diagram which as the exact fit screw punch images to create your center punch to center the recoil pad as well as a new set of screws. This does feel comfortable in the shoulder and would highly recommend it for a reduced stock on any rifle or shotgun. The best thing about this is that the pad also comes with a hard plastic reinforced pad for additional support and stability.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Nice Recoil Pad
Very nice to have a recoil pad on a carbine. Pad is very comfortable. It is a bit difficult to finish the pad with simple tools. More detailed instructions would be nice. Good shock absorbing recoil pad
This pad is a little difficult to sand down without getting some sort of damage to the rubber due to its softness. I found some of the pad pulling away from the plastic after working it down. A good belt sander is needed with lubrication to fine tune the finish and minimize any fatigue on the rubber. Once installed it really soaks up recoil better than any other grind to fit pad out right now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Absorbs the heavy recoil
