New discovery, new lesson.
I used one of the bags to add asparagus leavings to a veg and pork soup. Didn't know what to do with the knotted tail exactly because it dripped by osmosis when I left it on a stove dish. But I folded it back over the lid and we worked fine. Got the veg flavor, no bay leaves to fish for, and I even soaked it in soapy water to see if it was clean enough to use again. Great for making soups and stews with there are a lot of ingredients that could get lost in the pot. What is soup Sock you throw everything but salt pepper and water into the stock then add the water and cook.
