12av7s were fine. I was hoping for a little more in my THD univalve. They were fine but no huge improvment over good 12ax7s.
All good. I wanted different tubes for the 1st stage & driver in the preamp of my THD Univalve. 12av7 were ok in both positions but my expectations were unrealistic. Quite,reasonably powerful pre amp tubes.
