Great alternative to more expensive metal options.
I would give it 4.5/5 since it being made by a mold, there were sharp edges on mine. However i used a file to smooth out the edges and now it feels great and more comfortable. This is a great alternative to the more expensive g43 mag extensions and is functional just the same. Easy to install, and great value. I recommend wholeheartedly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Vickers +2 should be sold as a +1
I bought this and it seemed well constructed. The mag extender feels comfortable as an extended grip. I was initial able to load the +2 rounds into it but it fit very tight with the last round. It worked fine at the range but for some unknown reason, i can only get +1 round into the mag instead of the two. The last +2 round is tighter now and seems likely to distort the top of the mag because of the tightness. I do not have confidence in this mag to work properly as a +2 in an emergency. If you want a +1 mag extender then I would buy this but if you are looking for a +2, I would find another manufacturer. Maybe my new favorite +2 extension (I've tried them all.)
This might be my new favorite +2 extension because of price and reliability. I'm a fan of the Taran Tactical extension too, but there's a significant difference in price with the Taran being machined aluminum instead of polymer that the Vickers unit is. I would suggest avoiding the Strike Industries +2 since they do not include a stronger spring. (Glock knows how strong a spring they need for 6 rounds, that CAN be stretched to work for 7 with the Pearce +1 but failed often with the Strike Industries +2) *I'm a qualified installer, tried 2 units and nearly 1k rounds through them. IF this is a gun for self-defense, there's no telling the price of a feed error... don't take a chance, buy a unit with a stronger spring.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Vicker's Taxtical +2 Magazine Extension for the Glock 43.

Excellent quality
I chose to go with these because of reviews on the other extended mag floor-plates. For one thing they are half the price of the taran tactical ones and from what I read in reviews on those they do not come with a spring. You can not expect a spring that is designed for 6 rounds to work properly with 8or 9. These seem to operate great and they are great quality. I personally have a few parts made by vickers tango down and have not been dissatisfied with any of them. I ordered 2 of these and just ordered 2 more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works okay but,
Ordered 2 +2 base extensions from separate venders here and when installed with the Vickers springs you can just Barely install the 8th round and the slide will not go to battery. Installed the factory Glock springs with the Vickers bases and the mag's function flawless. Vickers ask me to ship them back the springs and they would replace them free of charge and pay freight both ways.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I purchased two of these magazine extentions, after some of my fellow deputies recommended them to me. I found this to be a great quality product and it looks great on my G43. Excellent quality product, works flawlessly, looks great.. can still use grip plug.
It's Vickers, so you know it's going to be decent. I would say this is beyond decent for the price.. comes with the base and retaining plates, and a new mag spring. Increases loadout by 2 rounds and looks factory. Does protrude a bit so not the best for concealed carry for me, but works perfectly and will carry these as backups or when I don't need to conceal. Bought one to try it out, and just bought two more. For the price of one "TT" basepad you can get three of these! Also these still allow you to run a grip plug which the "TT" basepad does not... also made of polymer so if you drop it on cement etc it won't leave shiny marks all over it like a "TT" magazine extension.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
