A basic roughly finished belt that snaps easy. However they are a fair price.

I bought one of these Silverline sanders when I made a series of guitars, having sworn I'd never make any more. I'd sold my Black and Decker belt sander, so I tried the Silverline and found it to be far superior despite being cheaper, the belts are much cheaper too and last longer.

I'm using these to clean up welding so they are being worked hard. I don't expect sanding belts to last very long on this kind of job but these seem to be holding out better than most. I have used some belts that don't seem to last at all, mostly snapping after little use. None of these have snapped, just worn down. I would certainly buy these again.

Excellent value for money on the belts, only had the power file for a few months but should have bought this device years ago. Yes it takes a while to master it and use the right belt for the job. But one of the best power tools I have ever purchased.
