Old fashioned molasses bread. Great with cream cheese or butter. Perfect with Boston baked beans meal. Easy to open on each end (can opener) and push out for slicing. Good for non-refrigerated storage, RV stocking or car camping. NOT normal bland sandwich bread, but good with chopped meat salad fillings of all types. Just as great as expected!

Simple ingredients, delicious.
Tried one can of this brown bread to see if it was ok. Well its was more than ok, and ordered twelve cans to have on hand in the cupboard. It is very delicious, has a very good shelf life of two years, and the ingredients list is not full of unpronounceable things. It's a pretty straightforward and relatively simple list of ingredients, which is important to me. You can eat it plain right out of the can with a little butter, use it as a side dish for any meal, or toast it. Would work as a sandwich bread as well. My grandchildren like it with cream cheese. We also like it with honey or butter and Jam. It has a strong Molasses flavor, whisch I'm not all to fond of, but with toppings like the ones I mentioned, that flavour is covered a lot.But I feel my grandchildren a lot when they come over, and this makes it easy. Anytime snack...at home on a plate with boston baked beans
I grew up in 60s and 70s in Anaheim California. This was always a staple in our house pantry. Available at Smart n Final by the case back then. It's best toasted and hot or fried in some butter...(when camping, my mom would open a can and set a half stick of butter on top, set it over the fire until the butter melted in and the can just start to sizzle...knock it out, cut it up...just wow), also great for a quick PBNJ.
