New cap failed.
It doesn't hold pressure and constantly drips from the vent pipe. I put the old cap back on and all was well, put the new one back on and it starts dripping again. Useless. I bought the new cap because i was losing water and thought the old cap, being 24 years old may not be holding pressure as it should. But no, the old cap was fine, but the new one was a problem.
